Super Mario The First Great Game
Super Nintendo Led the Way With Great GamesBy [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Gabriel_J._Adams]Gabriel J. Adams
The video game industry has exploded over the last five years. When I was a kid I remember playing an Atari and then a Nintendo game system. I loved both of these games systems, because they had games that were fun to play. However as much as I loved the games on those systems, when Super Nintendo came a long it blew all previous game systems out of the water.
Super Nintendo started many great trends for the Nintendo Company including Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart, F-Zero, and others. The graphics on Super Nintendo are not very good to today's standards, but when it was brand new it was very far ahead of any other systems at the time.
Super Mario World was a great game, because you could play it a very long time and still find new and different things that you could do. Super Mario World had quite a few different hidden items and games that would keep you entertained forever. Super Metroid was a game way ahead of its time in graphics and storyline. I used to love playing this game, because there was nothing else like it on the market at the time. Super Nintendo was able to give the Metroid series the graphics that it needed to do justice to the unique experience that the game was trying to allow the user.
I think my favorite game to play on the Super Nintendo was Super Mario Kart. I loved to play this game, not for the regular game mode, because that mode was too easy, but for the head-to-head mode. My cousin and I used to play this mode for hours, and we both developed very specialized techniques to pop each other's balloons. F-Zero was also another great game that was ahead of its time. The graphics and speed of this game was very hard to match by any other game system available at the time. The Super Nintendo really hurt Sega's chances of competing in the video game system market, and the main reason for this was the way that Super Nintendo led the way with great games.

Halo 3 Forge Map Editor Overview
Halo 3 "Forge" Map Editor OverviewBy [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tony_James]Tony James
One of the new and exciting features of Halo 3 is the Forge. The Forge isn't a typical map editor like you see in many other games. It does not allow you to change anything major in the level such as level geometry. Rather, it allows you to place any weapons, objects, vehicles, spawn points, or tools from Halo 3. For example you could easily place a flamethrower and bubble shield in your base for your teammates to pick up. You have a lot of flexibility in what you can place but you are limited to the amount of objects you can place; there is a cost associated with each object. You have a maximum amount of dollars you can spend to avoid overflowing the memory. Small objects cost less while larger objects such as vehicles cost more.
You can also play Forge with friends allowing you to delete enemy's objects while placing objects for your own team. Up to seven of your friends can join you forming different teams. You can attack each other as well as go into editing mode which turns you into a monitor like Guilty Spark. You can be attacked while in this mode so you need to pay attention to your enemies, but you can drop or move any object you wish. You do have some limitations such as not being able to delete vehicles while people are still in them.
The Forge looks like a great addition to the Halo franchise which should many unique gameplay experiences to our multiplayer games.
